My Day

Are there ever days when you feel like you've gotten everything on your list done? No...?!? Me either!!! And today was no exception. But... instead of thinking about all of the things I didn't get done, here are some things I DID accomplish! :-)


I tried out a super cute DIY door sign project from Emily at Playground Duty. I created this using Emily's directions for one of my super-teacher colleagues for our Valentine's secret pal exchange this week. Thanks Emily!!!

We watched the Super Bowl!

Speaking of football, I love Mrs. Mimi's idea that a belt full of colorful flags to throw at students throughout the day would be helpful in the classroom. "You don't have a pencil!?!" FLAG!!! "You're picking your nose!!!" FLAG!!! "No homework!?!" FLAG!!! 

I tried out a recipe from Pinterest called Pizza Pinwheels. They were perfect for Super Bowl Sunday and turned out really good! You can get the recipe here.

And finally, I saw an amazing sunset!

Life doesn't get any better than this!
