Bloddy Fingers & Google Forms

What an exciting week we had coming back from our Thanksgiving break!!! (And the countdown to Christmas begins!!!)  

First off, we welcomed our new class pet...

I am scared of him not so thrilled about him, but the kids are absolutely in love with him (even though he bit two of them. And there was blood...). Just saying...

First order of business was to give him a name. We all headed over to our class blog to leave a comment about what we thought his name should be...

Can you see where this is going...?

Then I took those name ideas and put them into a Google Form....have you ever done this before...?!?!?!?!? It was SO EASY!!!!! So easy! 

The kids got busy on their iPads voting...

And ta-daaaaa!! Within five minutes we had our results! With no paper mess! And no copies. And not much work on my part at all! 

Needless to say, "Fluffy" won. Whatever. I'm still going to call him Lenny... 

And last but not least, I'm linking up with a wonderful bloggy bud Kate at Second Grade Sparkle (who also teaches in SoCal!!!!!) to share what I looked like when I was in 2nd grade!!!
